God Even Cares For Snails

I am in the 3rd grade and God did a miracle for my class. We were at recess with one of my teachers and one of the students saw a snail near the bushes next to the fence. The teacher happened to be my science teacher who loved animals. Our class always wanted a class pet and the snail was just right. She took the snail into the classroom and set up a home for the snail inside a very big empty coffee tin and put some leaves in it. One day the teacher took the snail out of the tin and put it on blank paper and discovered it had died. The class really felt sad that the snail had passed away.

My homeroom teacher, Sis. Stephanie, came into the classroom and she told us to pray for the snail. She asked the class, “Who has faith to come up and pray for the snail?”, and I was one of the students who raised their hand. I was chosen to come up and I put my hand over the shell and prayed that God would bring the snail back to life. All the students joined me in prayer. Suddenly within seconds a yellow liquid came out of the snail and I think he went to bathroom. Then the snail started to move and come alive.

We were so happy that God did a miracle and brought the snail back to life. Our whole class was so excited God did a miracle that we went into the church sanctuary (next door to the school) and told my parents. My mom and dad were amazed that God cared so much for that little snail.

God is so amazing. He can heal everybody. Even if you have a bad sickness, you can be healed. All it takes is believing. All you need to say is, “I am healed”, and pray and expect that a miracle will come. Sometimes you have to wait for the miracle and sometimes you don’t. But God will still heal you if you believe and you never give up.

God can do it! In that story, even though it was a snail, God still cared for it. It was a miracle that touched some of the kids in my class because it was the class pet. But thank you, Lord, for healing him and now the snail is back in the bushes on the playground.
